755 coronavirus infections, seven deaths in Paksitan

All the coronavirus indicators have been sliding slowly but surely as Pakistan has logged another 755 coronavirus infections and seven deaths during the last 24 hours (Saturday), showed the data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Sunday morning.

As per the latest NCOC statistics, after the addition of seven new deaths, the overall toll has now surged to 30,265 whereas the number of total infections now stood at 1,514,258 after adding the fresh 755 cases.

During the last 24 hours (Saturday), 37,661 tests were conducted throughout Pakistan whereas the positivity ratio stood at 2.0 percent. The number of patients in critical care was 821.

During the last 24 hours (Saturday), as many as 886 patients have recovered from the virus whereas the total recoveries stood at 1,454,382. As of Sunday, the total count of active cases in the country was recorded at 29,611.

As many as 569,978 coronavirus cases have so far been confirmed in Sindh, 502,621 in Punjab, 216,983 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 134,620 in Islamabad, 35,380 in Balochistan, 43,106 in Azad Kashmir and 11,570 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Moreover, 13,520 individuals have lost their lives to the pandemic in Punjab so far, 8,085 in Sindh, 6,288 in KP, 1,017 in Islamabad, 788 in Azad Kashmir, 376 in Balochistan and 191 in Gilgit Baltistan.
